40+ Years of Corvette Expertise
A legendary name in the classic Corvette restoration community, Carol brings decades of passion and knowledge to every project.
Carol's journey in the Corvette business began in the 1970s when she started working for R.L. Williams, one of the pioneering Corvette parts suppliers. This was where she learned the ins and outs of sourcing original, NOS, and reproduction parts for the early Corvettes.
From there, Carol went on to work for Grossmueller's Classic Corvettes in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, for nearly two decades. During her time with Werner Grossmueller, Carol became deeply embedded in the Corvette restoration community, earning a reputation as a knowledgeable and trustworthy source for hard-to-find C1 Corvette parts. She became a familiar face at major Corvette events like Corvettes at Carlisle, where she continues to be a regular attendee.
When Grossmueller's Classic Corvettes was sold in 2018, Carol decided to continue her mission independently. Understanding the void that would be left in the community, she launched Carol's Classic Corvettes to ensure that serious restorers would continue to have access to the expertise and inventory they need for authentic C1 Corvette restorations.
Unlike general classic car suppliers, Carol specializes exclusively in 1953-1955 C1 Corvettes. This focused expertise means she understands the subtle differences between model years, knows which parts are unique to specific years, and understands NCRS judging standards.
Carol has worked extensively with NCRS members pursuing award-winning restorations. She understands what NCRS judges look for: correct part numbers, original markings, period-appropriate materials, and authentic detailing that makes the difference between a nice car and a judged award winner.
Over 40 years in the business, Carol has built relationships with chrome specialists, upholsterers, glass restorers, and other craftspeople who understand C1 Corvette requirements. These connections allow her to offer comprehensive restoration support.
Carol is not just a parts supplier—she owns a 1954 Corvette restoration project herself. This personal investment means she genuinely understands the challenges and rewards of C1 restoration.
Finding original 1953-1955 Corvette components that have survived 70 years. Carol maintains an extensive network of sources and knows how to authenticate original parts.
New Old Stock components—parts that were manufactured decades ago but never installed. These are prized for authenticity and often the best solution for restoration.
Carol manufactures select reproduction parts that are no longer available from any source. These are designed to be NCRS-correct in every detail.
The differences between 1953, 1954, and 1955 Corvettes are significant. Carol knows exactly which parts fit which years and what variations exist.
Understanding NCRS expectations means knowing correct part numbers, original finishes, proper markings, and authentic materials that judges evaluate.
Whether preparing for NCRS judging, Corvettes at Carlisle, or other major shows, Carol provides the guidance needed for award-winning presentations.
